Rebate for Accessible Home Adaptations

What is BC RAHA?

BC RAHA stands for BC Rebate for Accessible Home Adaptations. It is a BC Housing rebate program that helps eligible low- and moderate-income households make adaptations related to a permanent disability or loss of ability.

Homeowners may apply. Tenants can also apply jointly with their landlords where the program requirements are met. BC Housing decides whether the applicant, property and proposed adaptations qualify.

Funding is limited. Complete applications are handled first-come, first-served. Some adaptations require an assessment by an occupational therapist, physical therapist or other medical professional. Approved applicants generally have 180 days from written approval to complete the approved work.
