Bathroom Projects in and Around Coquitlam
The Coquitlam Bathroom for Bob and Joan combined stained maple shaker cabinets with a solid-white cultured marble counter. Grouted vinyl tile, chrome fixtures and sliding shower doors were selected. The shower used cultured marble wall panels and a textured base.
At Pelton Avenue, the ensuite shower opening was enlarged. Hexagonal tile covered the shower base, with ribbed wall tile and a niche. Flat-panel vanity cabinetry and storage above the toilet were included, along with a heated towel bar.
The main bathroom in that same home paired wood-look cabinets with mint-coloured tile around the tub and shower. Storage towers at both ends of the vanity, quartz counters and undermount sinks completed the plan.
The project photographs show how those selections fit each room. The two Pelton Avenue bathrooms were part of a wider renovation, but each had its own storage and bathing arrangement.
What Goes Into a Bathroom Renovation
We review the existing bathroom before recommending a layout. The shower or tub, vanity and plumbing locations all affect the work. Electrical needs, lighting and ventilation must also be considered with the room’s configuration.
Adding cabinetry is useful only when it leaves the room practical to use. We look at access around fixtures and how storage fits into the available space. Wall finishes, flooring and counters are then selected for the agreed plan rather than considered in isolation.
