The Poco Kitchen renovation took place in a Port Coquitlam home built in the 1970s. The homeowners had raised their children there. With their grown children now doing more cooking, the family wanted a kitchen that worked better for shared use.
The finished room combined painted flat-panel cabinetry with laminate accents. Countertops included quartz and a custom-made, stained butcher-block island surface. A multicoloured hexagon-tile backsplash drew on the homeowner’s interest in Lego.
